Through the Lens
A visual tour of Ora Grands — from the palm-lined arrival and colonial entrance to the sea-edge pool, open-air terraces and the gardens we are quietly known for.
The Arrival
The journey into Ora Grands begins beneath a canopy of century-old palms, where a discreet, laterite-walled gateway opens onto a lantern-lit driveway. A doorman greets each car by name, and the noise of the coast road falls quietly away.
Beyond the porte-cochère, the restored Portuguese-colonial facade reveals itself — arched verandahs, hand-laid azulejo tile and tall shuttered windows framing the lobby's brass chandelier. It is a threshold designed, deliberately, to slow you down.

The Grounds
Seven acres of the estate unfold toward the Arabian Sea. A heated, 25-metre infinity pool spills toward the horizon, ringed by teak loungers and private cabanas; beyond it, the lawn gives way to a soft stretch of Candolim beach.
As the light turns, the grounds change character — sun-warmed decks become sundowner terraces and the beach bar's lanterns flicker to life. Every outdoor corner is composed for a different hour of the day, from first swim to last cocktail.

The Gardens
Between the suites and the sea lie the gardens the hotel is quietly known for — rose-lined gravel walks, frangipani and bougainvillea, and a shaded courtyard atrium where breakfast is served among the ferns.
Tended daily by our resident horticulturist, the grounds are planted for fragrance and shade as much as for colour: a living, changing backdrop that keeps the coastal heat at bay and the birdsong close.
